Trans World Educational Experiences has finally made it’s mark in the transfer market this summer by swooping late to secure the services of two world class talents.
Joan Garcia, a 23 year old rising star from the Sabadell region of Barcelona, spent the last 6 months on loan with the travel firm from FC Barcelona B, and is delighted to make his move permanent this summer.

Speaking to the Spanish press from Trans World’s Madrid office, Garcia said: “From the moment I heard of Trans World’s interest it’s the only place I’ve wanted to work. I enjoyed my first six months in the role and I’m now delighted to make my position permanent. Huge thanks to my colleagues, especially the team here in Spain, for making me feel so welcome”
Garcia is joined by International Schools journeyman Adam Hoult, who takes up the position of Programme Co-ordinator for England (South) as of 1st September. A PE teacher by trade, the last 10 years has seen Adam hold senior teaching roles in Qatar, Moscow, London and latterly at the British International School of Boston (BISB). The
32 year old passed a medical on Thursday afternoon at the company’s HQ after BISB accepted Trans World’s multi-million dollar bid for the popular character that made it clear he was keen on a move away from the classroom.

Speaking from the company’s HQ in Edinburgh, Hoult, back in the UK on a permanent basis for the first time in a decade, said: “I’m delighted to have signed for this great organisation – a big thank you must go to all of my advisors for getting the deal over the line with hours to spare. After 10 years, 4 different schools in 4 global cities the time has come for me to move on from teaching. I want to publicly thank the team at BISB for the amazing opportunities I’ve been given, the school will always hold a special place in my heart.”
Trans World Director, Andrew Cook said: “It’s no secret we’ve been admirers of Adam for a log time. We first approached him in some years ago but lost out to an attractive offer from BISB that allowed Adam to teach the USA, a dream of his. We kept in touch and are now delighted to announce his appointment – it’s a huge coup for Trans World and one we’re really excited about.”
Hoult’s final involvement with BISB will be on the school’s Football Development Tour of the UK, taking place in October 2017.
